Burble added to a tune - video from the engine sub forum

Not my cup of tea (I'm not a huge burble fan) but found it interesting so decided to share it here as well in that I know many don't venture into the engine sub-section :-)

or 4th of July in that it sounds like firecrackers - that said glad it is simply an option and doesn't take away from the performance numbers I see - which IMHO are impressive

Guess the kids like this stuff

It's funny you should say this...last night I enjoyed diner with five under 22 year old guys (all were home from college in San Diego) before they headed off to their home States/Countries for the Holiday, one was my Son (he's not leaving). They are all die-hard car enthusiasts some race, some just flex. Some are working for their cars some received them .

Between the five there is an M4GTS, a RR SVR, a GTR, a C43 and my Sons 328 :-)

That said while this 48 year old "gets" burble and pop I'm really not a fan. However these five young car guys said "dial it up - awesome etc" and couldn't get enough

When I hear the crack and pops I normally think of a fart can on a Honda civic with neon under glow and a huge wing. I'm 28, the m340 is my first car purchase. I'm trying to have my car look and sound expensive not cheap imo.

Agreed!

I personally think the pop/bang is played out - but that's just me so I agree with you. But I'm not going to step on anyone else's toes. I mean I can go to a low-rider gathering and appreciate the love and work that went into the car regardless of whether or not I would drive a car with a chain steering wheel.

The workman ship on those custom low riders with the crazy camber is impressive. Have to give it to them for going to the extreme with their builds.

I have a neighbor who has a wrx sti and I can hear it go up the street. Feel like they are alittle too loud. I haven't ever heard my car without me being in it so I'm unsure of what an m340 in sport plus sounds like to a by stander.

Definitely not for me, sounds juvenile, I prefer the stock exhaust pops to this.
