Ask your body shop as each one will usually have it's own recommendation, but at the very least wait a month or two to let the paint outgas and cure properly, or you'll end up with super soft paint that swirls very easily. In the mean time just use a glaze like Meguiars #7 which is body shop safe and will be better than nothing. Also the weather is still nice, so leave the car out in the sun to speed the cure time.

Washing isn't a problem, just be very careful on the area that was painted since it will swirl much easier than the rest of the car until it cures. Also remove bird bombs and tree sap right away to prevent etching, but that really goes for the whole car anyway.
