2018 X1 F48 18d Space Saver Tyre/Wheel

I have checked with the UK BMW Dealer and they do not supply a space saver wheel/tyre for an xDrive 18d - 2018

There are a few sellers on eBay that advertise a space saver for this model, but can they be trusted as BMW UK say they don't supply

Seems very odd as the car price list for the X1 dated May 18 lists
Space Saver Wheel with Jack . 300/5DD . £75 .
I assume by the price they do not supply the pump & gung that otherwise comes.

apparently they are only a factory option as in order for the space saver to fit in the boot they have to modify the floor

the ones on eBay are probably OK and if the tyre is deflated it may fit in that compartment in the boot

If someone has a 17" space saver spare supplied by BMW from the factory, could they post the size of the wheel and tyre size fitted - is there's a reference number on the steel wheel that you could let me have.

There are quite a few third party sellers on eBay, but I am not sure if what they supply will fit

Door panel says . T135/90R17 . 104M
Have you tried Quarry Motors for a complete unit , they carry a very good stock of used spares ----but most Spare Space Saver have never been used . They may have Jack,wedges ect to make all you need.

There are a couple of old threads that also discuss the spare wheel options, and I posted an image from the BMW parts catalogue that does indeed show that there are two different boot floor liners (see below). To fit a space-saver under the boot floor you obviously need the larger storage area. I ordered my xDrive 20i new from the factory back in 2016, and specified the non-runflat tyres and a space-saver wheel, jack etc. and it had the large underfloor storage compartment, mainly filled by the spare wheel...
