AC compressor sound 2008 335i
I hear a metallic hollow-sounding pulsing noise in the background while driving between 1500-2500 RPMs. It's most apparent while cruising around at 1500-2000+ RPMs under light load (lightly accelerating). The noise goes away when I turn off the AC. It's not a clutch type noise and the AC is working perfectly - 37-40 degrees. Car has 75,000 miles.
