Exclamation e90 330d turbo removal HELP!!

Hi Guys,

I'm just in the process of replacing the power steering pump and turbo.

I've come across a problem in trying to remove the turbo, i've managed to remove the oil feed and oil return feed pipes. I've undone the spring clamp around the DPF and the clamp pointing directly upwards beneath the airbox.

I've also undone one bolt which secures a bracket but the turbo isn't budging, i think there is another bolt on the other side of the bracket (DPF side) which may be the culprit to holding the turbo on but not too sure.

Can anyone help me out or provide a step by step guide. Does the DPF require removal to get the turbo out?

Attached are images to make it clearer what i'm talking about.

If your turbocharger has failed make sure you check the oil feed pipe. Very common for a blocked oil feed pipe to be the cause of turbocharger failure.
