RES and pairing Bluetooth headphones

Okay, for some unknown reason I'm unable to figure out how to pair my wireless headphones to my 2019 F90 rear entertainment system.

The wireless headphones work great with my iPhone and iPad so I know they are not the problem.

When I go into the F90 menus, "My Vehicle", "iDrive settings", "Headphones/Remote control", and "Connect new device" it just doesn't recognize the headphones (even though the headphones are set to pair).

I have successfully paired the wireless remote control to the car, no problem.

If anyone has any suggestions/ recommendations and/or step by step instructions/ tricks that might help me that would be great.

Did that, no luck. Went to my dealer and they ordered me a pair of BMW wireless headphone (at no cost) saying they guarantee they will pair to the car ... they have been ordered from Germany so I should get them in around 2 weeks

It appears BMW is using KLEER technology to pair headphones to the RSE, not Bluetooth.

From F15/16 forum:
https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...9&postcount=42

The remote is also using KLEER technology to pair to the RSE.

Thanks for the info ... seems like I was told one thing (any Bluetooth wireless headphones will work) but that isn't the case.
