[Shiny.E90]

So my turbos in my 335i have gone bad. I plan on buying some other factory ones and selling it mainly to buy a 335is. I found some used ones for a good price and was wondering is there a way to diagnose the turbos when they’re not in the car itself? Wastegate isn’t an issue I plan on putting new wastegates when I get them anyways but I don’t want to buy turbos with bad cartridges. Thanks for your help :-)
