Car not starting n55
So my car randomly failed on me and did not want to start. I had it towed home after work and checked all the fuses to see if one was burnt, but nothing. I have a video posted and all the codes that came up. The lights are also on even when the switch is set to off and the windows will not function properly.
I was told by a BMW Technician that the windows and lights issue could be due to a faulty FRM. View post on imgur.com |

Update, So I do have a faulty FRM but the vehicle should still start with it, at least from what I've read and have seen.
I have not checked the power cable that runs near the DME that feeds the starter and such power. I had the starter replaced last year so I highly doubt its that again unless the ground came free somehow. One other thing I've noticed go wrong with the n54 and n55 motors are the charge pipes cracking/ disconnect from the throttle body. If anyone has any other insight on the situation could you help me out? Thank you. |
