Need Car Alarm Solutions For My E90

I left my car unlocked last night parked outside of a friends apartment. (yes I know dumbass me, I was rushing and carrying multiple things.)

The next morning I noticed my seat is all the way back and my car smells like shit. Thats when it hit me some homeless person slept in my car. They stole $200 cash that was hidden in the glovebox but didn't take my headphones, sunglasses, or cheap fire tablet. ( all of this was hidden and in my bag)

Moral of the story is there a way to code so the car auto locks if i forget to lock it? Or aftermarket alarms that you would recommend.

You can buy the alarm that is for your car from the factory for under $200.00 new. Yes, the car can be coded to self lock after the ignition has been off for so many seconds or minutes etc.
