N54 Water Hose Issue

I was changing out my alternator today and came across an issue when pulling off a water hose. The plastic in the end going to the block was rotten. I pulled it out and my car sits in the garage another day. I was wondering if this part was replaceable or if it only comes with the hose and if I can buy it separately what's it called? It's basically the metal piece smack in the middle of 7, 8 and 9 that's got 2 holes for torx can't find a name or part number anywhere [IMG][/IMG]

There's aftermarket adapters, I used this one. Cut off the plastic from the hose, just make sure you don't cut too much so the hose can sit properly on the adapter.

Thanks I ordered the part and it'll be here tomorrow, pretty stupid of bmw to use plastic considering the pressure and heat in these hoses.

I just did this swap yesterday and posted a DIY for it in the DIY section.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
