You might wanna take a second look. It's not a regular clamp that holds the hose down it's a quick connector so pretty sure you'll have to buy a whole new hose.

It should not have come off right there, as it has a non-removable clamp that secures it to the plastic end. If the plastic end where the hose slides on is not broken and you can some how remove the OEM clamp to replace it with a hose-clamp, then you should be able to slide it back on and tighten the clamp. Be careful though because that plastic end is probably very brittle and might break when you tighten the hose-clamp.
Best option would be to buy a new hose if at all possible. |

Yep, the plastic fitting is probably toast - cracked and disintegrating. Replacement part is a new hose with the fitting attached with a permanent band clamp. There is a metal fitting that you can order off ebay and it is a good replacement for a permanent fix.
When I did my OFHG, I disconnected this to ease access and the fitting was done. I picked up a replacement at the dealer so I could put it all back together but I ordered the metal fitting. I cut the band clamp off with a Dremel. I do have the new hose with the new plastic fitting with a worm clamp on the shelf in the garage if you are interested - $45 shipped to continental U.S. K9Leader |

And here is an OEM style aluminum fitting that is bargain-priced (but you will still have to get the perma-clamp off the hose):

No, that's not the block to thermostat hose in OP's picture, it is the upper radiator hose.

You're thinking its the thermostat to head hose, it's not. It is the upper radiator to oil filter housing hose. |

thank you for helping.
I was able to remove the OEM clamp and put on a hose clamp for now. waiting on part. had to refill like 5 liters of coolant. also had water pump fault code. I cleared it. hope it wont come back it was the upper rad hose that broke. |
