E90 320D MPG Still Poor After Stats Change

Hey guys

On my E90 320d i recently change bith stats after i noticed the temp was reaching past 78°. Now the temp is reaching 92° the MPG increased to 45mpg on city roads for about 3 days before dropping now to as low as 23°.

Any help on what else should be dont to get mpg increased?

Thanks in advance

This is mostly a US board we had no 4 cylinder cars for the e90
chassis and only a 6 cylinder diesel . So you might not get many
responses here.

As you can see from the following motor sub forums.

You might try the UK sub forum.

If this was the case the t-stat change wouldn't have made any difference.
