Stock turbos too much boost?

I have MHD stage 2+ 93 oct and no other tune. My car regularly hits 21.5-22 psi max boost at WOT. is anyone else experiencing this? I have inlets, CP-E charge pipe, and 7" HPF FMIC. The car runs great im just concerned about such high boost. My A/F is mid 12's.

I would only hit 15 lbs on 2+. Even e60 only bumped me up to 18. I had to get a custom tune and 3.5bar map sensor to run 22psi. Something doesn't sound right, maybe your bov spring is too heavy, wastegates aren't working correctly or the sensor is not calibrated correctly.

I don't believe my bov spring is too heavy. its open at highway speeds. and never has a problem discharging. I know my waste gates are tired but the problem might lie in that i have removed the canisters and im hitting high boost before the waste gates can react. Theres not really any problems happening and im not getting overboost codes. Its just weird.

The stock turbos can do 21-22 psi without issues ….

Been running more than that for more than 3 years.

Sounds about right with inlets. Im running JB4 with BEF 94 oct with out inlets and hitting 19 psi consistently. I do also have few other bolt ons FMIC, High Flow Cats, XHP stage 3, Turbo Smart DV,s, BMW PE.

But you're JB4. Pretty sure inlets would do nothing in terms of making power with the maps in MHD no?

Edit: Didn't notice BEF as well.

Can't tell if you really are hitting those numbers without a log. My guess is, you are seeing the boost spikes between shifts which is not accurate. Stage 2 maps max out to 18.2 psi on MHD.

You have inlets, the tune is not made for inlets or outlets, you need a custom tune.
