day time running light bulb
I've searched all over but can't seem to figure this out. inside the lens on my 2009 e93 I have a small halogen bulb that seems to come on with day time running. I have already swapped the H8 for led for the angel eye rings, and the normal headlights are xenon. what bulb is this exactly and what is it for. it's the only one left halogen and would like to swap to led.

H8 is for the angel eye itself, this is like a small bulb that you can see from outside inside the lens

Could you possibly be talking about the turning light? Its an H3 55W bulb.
It should look something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Cryst.../dp/B00480FIBE |

I think it might be that, comes down like from the top. I also cannot figure out the logistics of why they are on vs off. Sometimes I see them on mostly off. As far as I understand they are supposed to come on when wheel is turned. But I do think I've seen a reflection of them when behind a car while going straight. I'll have to look.
