Best e90 front bumper?

Had a fender bender and looking to replace my e90 335 sedan bumper.

Where and what bumper should i get?

My current bumper has no pdc and has headlight washers. None of the bumpers i see have this. Can the m3 replica work? Looking for something better looking than my oem.

Please let me know which site is best to purchase from too.

Thanks!

M-tech bumper is what most get. There are a few versions (some more true than others), but you can even get them on eBay. You just have to look for the ones that have the headlight washers. PDC I think will be the harder one -- IIRC stock bumpers already have the cutout shape on the inside of the bumper (if you had to drill), not sure about aftermarket.

Something made out of polypropylene. Most users run m-tech. ECS sells them for about $450

Thanks guys. I do like the look of the mtech over the m3 rep. I've read through a bunch of posts and can't find a straight answer -

What modifications are needed to make the mtech fit? Remove brake ducts? New fender liners? None of the above?

My dad owns a body shop but he doesn't really get into modding parts much so I want to be able to tell him what needs to be done before he tells me I bought a POS that doesn't fit.

Thanks!

Just to give you another option, there's a m4-style replica bumper which fits. I personally like the oem bumper look and the m3 bumper doesn't look right with the e90 headlights imho.

M-Tech is the direction I am heading.

I would really like to know the quality of the replica bumpers VS OEM.

Looks like an OEM mTech Kit (including the fogs and inserts) is about $1200. Replicas look to be about half that.

Now I have no evidence to back this with, but I couldn’t imagine the quality is that much worse, but expect it to be not as nice as the mtech, as most replicas go, for anything that is.

Yeah I figure this much but I guess in the end it is just a flimsy piece of plastic. As long as the holes line up. So really it comes down to prep and paint.

Does anyone know if the ECS and OEM parts are made of the same material?

M Sport (not M tech) is what looks the best, imo. I think people are using MTech interchangeably when they mean M Sport. Google both and report which one you like.

So as I understand it, mtech is narrower in the center grill opening, and has foglights. M-sport ditches the fogs and has a larger "mouth." M performance (my favorite) has the largest opening.

Because I live on the coast, we have lots of fog. I can't live without my fogs so m-tech is the direction I am leaning.

I do love that bumper though. But I also love the look of fog lights.

I have an M Sport car that has an M Sport front bumper. It has fog lights.

I have the rear exhaust shroud, just need to get the bumper and get it all painted. I am not a fan of the sides on the E90.
