Do amps need coded?

Does the amp for the radio need recoded if I replace it with the same model?

At the very least, the vin number for the amp must match what's it the CAS.

Sometimes the Logic 7 ones do . See coding subforum.
I believe you need and Icom to do it as the Most Bus is
the only connection that carrys data to the amp.
(at least I thought it was the only connection)

LOL that sounds correct. I do need new blades but the two different sets I bought didn't allow room for me to put the caps over the blades.
