One exhaust to quad exhaust
Hi everyone, i have a single exhaust ( exactly like the white BMW )
I'd like to upgrade to quad exhaust but i don't know anything about how it works and how i will have to do it so please i'm asking you guys help if you know how i could do that ? I'm not searching for perfomance exhaust to have more hp or a better sound i'm just want to have a clean rear bumper and exhaust nothing more so what is the cheaper way to have quad exhaust like the BMW below ? Or like m3 style below ? That'd be cool if you guys know how to do it because my only option until now was to get to single exhaust M3 style rear bumper but it's too simple and i'd like to have a more aggressive rear with quad exhausts. I'm look forward to your answers guys |

Quad tips is just 2 exhaust pipes with a dual tip on each one, so; buy a quad tip bumper or diffuser if your car has one. Direct the original exhaust pipe to the one bumper spot and throw the dual tip on, then have the exhaust shop run another exhaust tube merging from the original exhaust tube to the new location and throw a dual tip on there. Done.
Edit: Will probably have to delete/modify your muffler to get this done. |

There are some pretty good looking single exit exhaust bumpers out there...IMO putting a quad or dual exhaust on a 328i just makes it seem like your trying to look like and M3 or 335.

I'm sure you could find someone damn near giving away a 335 exhaust system. Get that and then install m3 bumper and tips of your choice. Done

The M3 style is cooler I think. It would be easier to do on a 328 than a 335i.
It's interesting. The only replica M3 rear bumpers they sell for the 335i force you to do a center mounted quad exhaust. That would make you do some major pipe bending in a small space with two mufflers sitting there. Otherwise, you'd have to get an M3 muffler and modify your mid-pipes etc. I have never seen a replica M3 bumper that allows the existing mufflers ends to sit naturally where are. I think that's why most folks with a 335i get a m-sport bumper for the rear instead. |

From what I've seen, the undercarriage is different than the 335. You have to have the exhaust shop route the piping pretty much right behind the bumper. Nour Hummadi has a video of him putting a duel tip exhaust on his 330i
