Minor fender bender. Anyone parting out hood and bumper?

On the way to work the lady in front of me slammed her breaks, long story short, i hit tapped her with my front bumber, she had an SUV so her bumper went on my grill and hood area.

My hood curled in, and is stuck on the hook that releases to open hood.

Looking to get this fixed asap, i need bumper, and hood. Anyone got one by the San Bernardino / LA area?

Check local scrap yards, you'll need new kidney grills too.

You can get a new bumper already painted from ebay for around $200 shipped (around $400 if you want it shipped unfolded in a bigger box, apparently more likely to keep the paint looking great but I've heard that the folded ones are just fine since they're folded up soon after painting and the paint isn't too brittle/hardened yet). The grille inserts are pretty cheap too.

I'm not sure about the hood. I usually scour one salvage yard in the LA port area about once every other month and no matter when I go none of the E90s there ever have usable hoods, bumpers, or front fenders (I'm on the lookout for a bumper myself). I'm guessing they're pulled before those cars end up at the pick-a-part yards and sold at a markup from a different reseller, then the pick-a-part yards get the lower value scraps.

Looks like you don't want to go through insurance... You bent the lady's right exhaust. Going to be expensive to fix the Audi.

If you need a new front bumper anyway I would upgrade to an M3 rep and gloss black grills

He could only be insured one way. So his insurance pays the damage he done to others but not to his own.

Would you like your BMW's exhaust just "bent back up without much issue"?

True that. I always carry collision, so it is hard for me to think others don't.

Lol guess not, plus it always sucks when the damage on your car was done at the hands of another

Well, I mean this is something that could happen to all of us at some point I’m sure, but thank god we aren’t liable when we are rear-ended...
