Looks outstanding.
I saw that colour in the dealership about 3 years ago, and I thought it was lighter than it appears in your pix. If they are a reasonably accurate representation of the colour, it is a nice blue. |

KW's - plush, rides way better than stock, even with 20's on. I'm really impressed with the quality and ride quality. One gripe is the slight shimmy if you go anywhere lower than any of the lowering springs height drops. But another member, knightarmor and I are going to play with weights to hopefully get rid of the slight shimmy between 20-40mph.

I need to make time to mess with adding weight to the rear drive ballast. Just made a 150mile trip and the highway miles were great but all the slow stop and go stuff is extremely annoying, especially since it doesn't do it consistently everytime.

Found the problem in the mini forum finally. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ion-issue.html
No resolution has been found that I can see. Can't tell if mine is getting worse or not but need to check when we get back from our trip cause I swear I am hearing noises at low creeping speed now.... 😬 |

Just returned from our trip. ~300 miles roundtrip. I can def. tell the ride is getting worse at speed as now I feel vibrations randomly. We've put about 1500 miles on the X1 since KW install. Probably dropping the OE suspension back in tomorrow if I have time to see what's up.

A personal thing but I am not sure about lowering the ride height, I will have to think about rationale of ordering SUV over say 1 series and then lowering ![]() |

I have the exact same car, minus your additions of course. The color is beautiful.
Looks like you had the front windows tinted? I've been considering it, what tint level did you go with? |
