Bmw M performance side sill damaged

Hi,

I recently had the m perf added and i have just scratched one of the sills.

What can i do to sort out the scratches? Scrapped it all the way along pretty much

Scratch the other side and then both will match 😀

On a serious not maybe a pic might help?

Photos would be much more helpful in this situation as the level of scratch can vary and the method of repair will vary.

If it is simply clear coat that is scratched, a simple compound and polish will clean it up.

If you can feel the gouge with your nail, touch up paint mixed with clear and some compund and polish will help.

If you can see bare metal or plastic on the panel and the scratch is big you will need a full panel repaint to look mint.

Depends how bad the scratch is.
The M Performance plastic is the matt plastic. Marks quite easily.
I doubt you would be able to polish it out.

It's really just a sticker, can be removed and a new one can go on. I haven't priced the new one, but it clearly may be the way to go.
