Looking for an n55 engine. For my 2010 335i dct.
Preferably with less than 90k miles on it.
As my rod bearings appear to have failed just a few weeks after buying the car.
Can collect if not too far from Gloucester. Otherwise will pay for shipping.
Failing that I suspect I'll need a crank shaft to rebuild my engine.

Personally I would try Silverlake or Quarrymotors scrap yards, silverlake is all brands but quarrymotors deal with just bmw

As it’s an engine I would look for somewhere which gives guarantee being the heart of the car, these scrap years will, other option is try 1st choice they are brokers and other company’s quote you a price, not sure what guarantee they give though,
I know quarry will ask for you vin so they can match it to your car, silverlake deal in big volume of cars
Forgot to say silverlake will deliver personally to you or garage for a fair delivery fee, not sure about quarrymotors but there are pallet services available online, again to you or the garage
