Any one else have bad luck when driving?

Alright, so I've only been driving for several months or so but I've had the worst of luck. 2 people have stopped at a green light in front of me and I almost got rear ended, people drifting into my lane, and today's was my favorite. Of all the things that can happen, a balloon came out of the sky right in front of me and I couldn't get over cause there was too many cars around me. Luckily I was able to slow down and prevent the plastic weight from putting a dent in the front. Seriously, a few months and I already have balloons attacking me Does anyone else feel jinxed?

Unhappy

My car got tapped just today afternoon!!!
Was sitting at a light, a big Hyundai crazy retard SUV comes up behind me
and taps my car.. Geez!!! Thankfully nothing happened and luckily I held off
and decided to order a 09 e92 instead
I would've cried if I had bought that 08 e92 I was offered last week.

It is a strange world out there, I've driven to work at 4:30 am before and had weird people cut me off for no reason (I'm not always in the mood to drive 70+ in a 35, esp. before dawn when cops could be lurking). Happened Tue. morn. Not even in the BMW, in the Nissan. But that's the world we live in. I don't let these things bother me too much, I log in and look at my bank account balance, that always cheers me up. LOL

Not trying to be a dick, but seriously. If you are always having issues, always having bad luck by and large it's your fault. I know it sounds odd but it's true.

You will always find folks here and there that are lightning rods for drama and bad things. Over and over it "happens" to them. Well when you look closer, without fail, you will find behavioral traits that result in these bad things.

Once in a great while something Truly "OUT OF THE BLUE" will happen but for the most part, out on the streets you make your own luck. Just about everything that goes wrong could have been avoided if your head is in the right place.

Same off the roads too, we all know a lightning rod, we all see them falling down again and again, and for the most part it's usually pretty apparant that a persons own misfortune is a result of their own attitude, ego, arrogance, or sadly sometimes simply ignorance and obliviousness.

Just a thought.

A victim is usually only a victim because they believe they are....

I agree with what you've said, but I have weird stuff like balloons flying at me and people stopping at a green light in front of me (I don't think I influence that). I wouldn't call myself a magnet because these occurrences are still pretty rare, but strange stuff happens sometimes when I use anything with a motor. One time my friend bought a gas scooter from some kid and didn't know that the rear tire was wasted down to the metal braiding on one side. He let me ride it as he rode his other scooter (which has a doggy bag holder attachment) and as he was in front of me one, of the doggy bags flew out and I barely turned to avoid it but the rear tire spun out and I barely avoided hitting the point of a mailbox as I bailed!
