Should I keep it raw carbon or paint it leaving the center bump and vents exposed carbon? (these are pictures of G-Power's car, my M5 is Rosa Corsa Red)

They said they did heavy weather testing and are currently doing a 300kph test

It just seems to be asking for trouble having two open, depressed water gathering vents directly over the engine. But BMW electronic connections are very good, hopefully nothing more than steam will happen.

I'd paint the entire thing and leave the inner walls of the vents exposed cf

I would keep it raw and drive it for a while.
If you feel is to much carbon you can always paint it later

Just re-read your post. I would suggest as what you had mentioned. Painting the bonnet leaving the centre power bump and the vents exposed carbon. It would look nicer with the 2 tone and have greater contrast.

Paint it for sure. I can't stand it when people have raw carbon hoods. Looks to me like they just picked up a hood from a scrap yard and haven't got around to painting it yet.
