Bad Diesel?
Last Friday I stopped at a Shell station in DE. I got a tank of diesel and by the time I got home, 80 miles later, I had a slight low RPM stumble/vibration. I monitored it until yesterday (Wednesday). No change, MPG was steady, no SES Light. The stumble/vibration was most noticeable when revving in Neutral or Park, when trying to figure out what was going on. Under load it was noticeable but not significant. Last night I added a bottle of cetane booster and got a new tank. Immediately, the issue was gone. Has anyone had this issue? My expectation would have been that bad diesel would have caused more issues and or thrown some codes. Just looking for some other experiences.

I have no personal experiences, but know that bad diesel IS an issue that you can run into. Maybe that diesel wasn't THAT bad, but truly bad diesel will require a full flush of the entire fuel system, and can potentially cause damage.
