Exclamation ***HELP*** CP & FMIC install... CEL "Drivetrain Malfunction"

Just installed my VRSF chargepipe and intercooler today.. Seemed to be driving fairly well, but after about 10 minutes of driving, I got a "drivetrain malfunction" code on my dash.

Any ideas as to where I went wrong in the install?

What kind of codes are you getting?

Check your CP, looks like it worked itself loose. Boost leak somewhere? Check throttle body and FMIC end. Also check the elbow on the CP, make sure it's snug. Stupid question, did you take the O-rings off the old CP and place it on the new one? Check the bung screw as well because they ship loose.

Awesome thanks. And yes I transferred over the o rings but did some modification to the upper one on the CP because it wouldn't fit. Starting to think that was the problem. I cut down the outer rubber to make the part fit.

That's probably it. That O-ring gets placed in a very specific way. No reason to cut it. I think that may be the culprit.

Looks like a boost leak due to the modification done.

VRSF product should fit plug and play without any modifications
