Blacking out blinkers?

I wonder if anyone has blacked out the white/chrome part on the blinkers. On the first picture is how it looks oem. The second picture is a product that you swap out and replace the blinkers and it’s all black( no white part). Only problem with this product is that the blinker goes dynamic like Audi and Volkswagen and it’s not really my taste. So to the question, any other way to black out this part of the blinker easy?😁

Sure. Replace with the corresponding F80 M3 OEM Exterior Mirror.

Tint film. I got smoked vinyl and wrapped them. They are considerably dimmer, but I worked around it a bit.

Got any pics?😄 considering buying this dynamic blinker just for the sake of the black part but should be few ways of working around that cost of 135$ Haha

Had to go back through my archives but found a few that might give you an idea.

I can take a closer shot if you'd prefer. Just thought I'd go with what I already had to start.

This is the only part I’m my car that isn’t black, you made it look great! Was it easy to install? Just remove the mirror cap and apply with some heat? Thank you😀

The first time I did it, I was being lazy and just laid it over and cut at the lines. I recently redid it where I completely removed the lights and did a more thorough, clean job. Can be as fast or slow as you want, depending on how precise you want to be.

What is it about visible lights that seems to drive some of you to cover them up and kill their effectiveness? I don't get it.

The smoked dynamic blinkers for the mirrors are dim and worthless and almost a embarassing looking upgrade for a BMW. They look like something is wrong and you have a short in your mirror blinkers. They are completely washed out in the daylight sunshine. Unlike the OEM or the Audi signals.

I went and smoked mine. I didn't want to interfere with functionality so I went on the lighter side.

As you start to black things out the chrome details start to scream in your face. The blinkers were one of them followed by the headlights.

Looks sweet!! Ordered a film for the blinkers and another film for my fog lights! Next will be tinting tail/headlights and a low key tint on the driver and pssanger side windows. Should be as dark and blacked out it can be after that!

Was thinking of purchasing those wheels second hand for my car as well, must say they look fantastic!
