I got my 435i M sport

Im excited as hell that I got my bmw 435i m sport. I love it to death. I am working on the right insurance plan for it at the moment looking at either Mercury or Progressive since both are giving me the best rates.( Im a cruiser and less of a racer.)

but my thing is I wanted to create this thread just to see what you guys do to take care of your baby? I want to take care of this more than if I had a kid

Nice car; congrats!

I thought it was priced too high but that's water under the bridge at this point.

Personally, I clean my own cars because I enjoy it and I don't think others will provide the same level of care. I keep my cars garaged, I wax them twice per year and clean them once per month at a minimum; usually I take it to a full spa drive through car wash and then home to finish up. OEM all weather floor mats works great, they look great and are very durable. Thats all I have done since I purchased the car new over 4 yrs ago and it still looks brand new!

It will be a magnet for sure... So watch out for that

Paint protection film. The number of rock chips I've picked up is crazy and saddens me a bit. Ceramic coating is another option to protect your finish, but not to the degree the ppf does.

Frequent oil/filter changes. For maximum protection, I'd recommend no more than every 7,500 miles or every 6 months. I do mine every 5k.

Keep up with other regular maintenance and it'll last as long as you need it to.

For the interior, just keep the leather cleaned and conditioned. Not sure if the windows are tinted, if not, do it. Will help with the SoCal sun.

It's still within original warranty; optionally, look into extended warranty options, either through BMW if available or third party.

Hmm...from the pics, they look like they could be replicas. From what I can tell, the rear tire width doesn't look wide enough to be oem 437Ms. :

Not sure if they would fit proper since the offset is set up for M cars, I've seen people putting 437M wheel on F30.

OEMs do fit with a slight poke. Not bad, but I do think oem M3/4 tire sizes are too big and might cause rubbing. I was just wondering OP's wheels are OEM or replicas.

yea it was overpriced I don't disagree. but ill pay it off fast. I will sacrifice in other areas for a bit to make up for the extra i had to pay. I'm glad i got it though.

when washing your car how do you avoid swirl marks? microfiber towel good? I'll be washing it myself as well.

chick magnet for sure

paint protection film sounds great. I'll look into it. are there any go to suggestions/brands?

I got extended warranty through GWC. but since it's my first time working with a dealer I think i got ripped off a bit. the warranty was still good till next Nov2019 but I got extended in a hurry and I think the current warranty got thrown out the door. so I lost a year. not sure

but that's already checked. maintenance records were A+ across the board. I'll keep it up.

as far as keeping the interior clean is there a material I should use or just avoid sitting with sweaty clothes?

How is this a hater comment?

Keeping a BMW nice isn't much different than any other car. Keep up on maintenance, drive cautiously, and it'll be fine.

either give some advice based on the car or don't speak at all. That comment doesn't help anybody. I don't just have one source of income.
