Their cable, since you can use it with a laptop if you decide you want to go more hardcore with INPA and the other "pro software".
For me, I wanted a convenient and safe/fool proof way of "coding"; so I got their bluetooth adapter. |

You can order the cheap cable but if/when it doesn't work will it have been worth it? For fucks sake spend the $45. If that's out of your budget you have no business in a BMW in the first place

You really don't wan't to cheap out when playing with this kind of electronics. And like LMB335IS said, just spend the $45 and be done with it.
You can cheapout on a bumper, or on some LED light, but don't on this kind of stuff. |

I have like 5-6 different cables and several bluetooth adapters. Most of them are useless. a cheap cable may or may not work, you never really know. IIRC the software supports cheap wired cables, but not generic bluetooth adapters.

Yeah I will probably just end up getting it from bimmergeeks. I've just spent the money on protool and dont particularly feel like waiting around for a damn cable to be able to use it.
