Saddle brown with CF trims with pitcures
I decided to put BMW M-performance carbon fiber trims to my 435i GC with saddle brown interior.
I have attached Before and After pictures. I personally like the CF trims as it darken the interior and give it a more sporty vibe. The wood trim is nice and luxurious, but with the clear coat, there is too much reflection in the cabin. |

Thanks all for the feedback.
The trim is the OEM M-performance Alcantara/CF mixed trim. Got it from Newton BMW via ebay for $750 total. During my car hunting, I found 9 out of 10 EB II F3x cars have black interior. Even though the matte blue stripes and hex aluminum trim breaks the monochrome black, it does look a bit too cheap for me. And I can live with black and dark wood trim either. Ivory white is my 2nd choice and I feel it will look great with the CF trims, but it's impossible to keep that light color leather clean unless I perform leather cleaning every few weeks. Too much maintenance. I cannot image EBII with Coral red (of course, some people love the combo as color is very subjective and personal). I just love the saddle brown interior, and think it compliment the blue well enough. EBII/Saddle brown is a rate color combo, so it took me quite a while to find a car with right that color, the right amount of options and price range. I also noticed that while I am driving, I rarely notice the exterior color. And when you look at the car from outside, the interior doesn't really matter much. Since I got the car with the most desirable colors I want for both, I am very happy with it. Happy New Year to all!! |

Your car looks AMAZING! Such a great combination of colors, textures and surfaces. Visually, very exciting and light years better than the drab black interiors most EB cars are sporting. Great work.

Oyster provides good contrast with the black dash, panels, and carpet. But it is also high maintenance to keep it clean. As long as you are willing to pamper the interior, it is a great color to have. |

My opinion is that carbon fiber for cosmetic reasons is super played out and unoriginal. That gorgeous leather really conflicts with the CF trim. It's like wearing a suit with tennis shoes.

I looked at a 340 in the same color combo, I wanted EBII so bad... The wife said it looked like an Islanders car, so that color combo was a non starter. I ended up with Black on Black. But I do love the car, and got a great deal.
