Tray under hood has a plastic tab broken
Should I be worried about this? Should I try to buy a new one or try to glue it or just leave it? I have no idea how this happened, I'm assuming this happened when they changed the brake fluid in the past. This is on the drivers side under the hood, the brake fluid is under this piece. It's the bottom clip this picture is bad bad picture sorry haha. Thanks for the help just don't want to fly off while driving

If it bugs you, replace it; I don't imagine it's very expensive. Or you could try supergluing it back and see if that holds.

My tabs for that piece were turned the wrong way by indy and the plastic support around the tabs were mangled/stripped. I just bent it back somewhat and the tabs still functional OK. That whole is about $40 online, so one option is to replace it.

Shouldn't make a difference. The thing sits loose anyway. I would just get a used replacement. Won't cost much.
I don't like the way the piece is not screwed down and just sits loose on top of the suspension strut. Seems like they couldn't be bothered when they designed this piece. Just like on the RHD cars there's no drainage holes on the wiper tray and the water just sits there. German attention to detail... |

A loose panel means it is not installed properly. |
