I've been having fun buying used e90 LCI parts and retrofitting them into my 2006 330i then selling the old parts for the same money online.
Anyhow, I got a new climate control module and this one came with the little duck icon which is HDC. Before I swap out the buttons to remove it I'd like to see if it can be made to work. Does anyone know what ECUs handle this functionality? I can't find any coding options online, and I'm not sure if it can be done by adding a VO code then recoding everything. Seems to only come on some x drive cars. Also, the 330 is a standard transmission so who knows if it will work. ... yes I know HDC is redundant with engine brakes. Just having fun while the m3 is in storage. |

The DSC module but I don't know much about Xdrive and their modules/versions but if you have NCS Dummy look at the DSC8_RPA.xxx modules. They all have HDC in their parameters.
