Has anyone any experience using BimmerLink recently, say within the last 90 days? Steering wheel heater stopped working last week. Assuming the module has burnt out, short in the heating element, or something. Dash indicator shows "activated" and "deactivated" with the button press, but no heat like before. It would be toasty in about a minute. Would a module like this throw a BMW specific code if I were to log with somthing esys capable? Torque Pro doesn't show any pending codes; wasn't expecting this kind of error to bubble all the way up to the ecu anyhow. Not sure if BimmerLink is capable of reading all of the ecus the way I am looking for. Already using Bimmercode, but I don't see any thing related to the steering wheel modules, so no dice there. Would rather spend money on the correct tool the first time.
