Its a personal preference, but for me it is like putting an M3 badge on your F30. Now if you are getting some performance gains to justify the cost, then go for it. They do look nice.

It's really up to you, but IMO its just not worth the trouble if you're just doing it for looks. And not that opinions of others matter, but those who cant tell, won't know the difference and those who can tell will give you strange looks lol.

I wouldn't. I think it is too much. I have quad tips on my M3 and I would really rather have dual exhaust. It's just trying too hard for my taste.
