Clunk or Scrape noise driving on Highway

Hi guys, so I've searched and searched and could not find any posts that a close to what I'm noticing. Here's details to what I'm experiencing. Normal driving on city roads no issues, dry steering no issues, rolling over small bumps or dips no issues. I notice during highway driving when hitting some bumps at high speeds and car bounces I hear a clunk of scrape noise coming from the right front of the car. To me it somehow sounds like my intercooler scraped on the ground kind of like metal scraping or clunking. Funny thing it only happens when I hit certain bumps on the highway, other than that no noise. I looked under the car and dont see anything that would touch the ground. My suspension is the adaptive suspension with Dinan springs so its not very low. Only thing I can think is maybe the brake shield but I made some adjustments to that and still get the noise. So has anyone experienced something like this? Anyone know of a fix? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like it could be wheel rubbing, which is a possibility, even with the mild drop, depending on tire sizes.

Hmm... didn't really think about that. I'll check to see if that's what I'm hearing. Any tips on what to look for?

If it were your wheels rubbing it would be making an almost "growling" sound for lack of a better word, if you're hearing metal on metal or clunking, it's likely something else.

True... I guess we're just trying to rule things out with the help of the community. Thanks for your input. Will do more investigation and research.

Maybe a strut is hitting the fender? Wild guess but it could be a possibility

So I checked to see if anything was loose and did not find anything. Maybe I'll try to tighten the strut bolts inside the engine bay and see if that fixes anything.

Seems like I glossed over the fact that you described it as a metallic, but can't hurt to check anyway. If the rubbing is substantial enough, you might be able to see some markings on the inside of the wheel wells, but if it sounds like metal that's probably not it. A video would be helpful in trying to figure out what it is though...
