M2C shocked at frt pdk!

Finally got to see a m2c at the local dealer. Not bad..but was floored at extra costs compared to my 17 m2. Frt pdi and admin fee would be $4500 plus tx even before you take the car! I dont recall that pricey on my 17 only 2 yrs ago. If that is the change then I think the 16 to 18 m2s are bargains compared to the m2cs out now!

I think I paid around $2600 for my 2018 in June. I just priced one out on the website and it says $2795 for PDI and Freight. Sounds like the dealer is padding it considerably unless Freight & PDI is higher in Ontario.

I recently got a quote for an M2C and Freight, PDI and fee was $2829 in Ontario. Better go see another dealer!

I paid 1395 freight and 1595 pdi in Toronto earlier this year. The admin fees are bogus and should be negotiated.

lol @ "M-Series Freight"...they saw you guys coming! a car is a car, doesn't cost more to ship an M car than a stripper 2/3/4/etc series.

Freight is fixed for the dealer and an average of the costs to get cars to a particular region from Factory - not dealer driven

PDI is a tech for maybe two hours and a pimply faced 17 year old @ min wage the rest of the time that strips the plastic and washes the car - then pins it all the way back to the dealership - negotiate this.

RE: Admin fees ...dealer pays some part time chimp $11/hr to file the paperwork. Cost of running a business - tell the dealer where he can stuff those fees.

Can't get out of are the Air tax, OMVIC (straight up rip off btw), tire tax, because these are not dealer charges.
