X3 and golf clubs
X3 or X5 ... love the X3 M40i, but I regularly need to shove two sets of golf clubs in the trunk without putting down the rear bench. Should I be opting for a standard X5 instead of the X3 M40i?

My clubs must be longer than some. My 16 yr old daughters clubs fit fine width wise using notch, mine do not. I have still given 4 golfers a ride comfortably.. all with carry bags.

You can fit your clubs horizontally if you use the storage wells on the sides, like in the pic above. If you don't want to put the ends into the storage wells, the bag has to go in diagonally. You can put 3-4 bags in the trunk without putting the rear seats down. I was also a little concerned about fitting my clubs having gone from an X5 to a X3, but it's a non issue. BTW absolutely love my M40i and it is so much more fun than the F15 X5.

X5
X5 would be the better choice here because I am thinking of upgrading for that as well I can seem to fit my drivers in the trunk of my car its always either leave them in the back seat or just leave them all together and at that point, I just don't go down to the court.
So yes go for X5 in this regard. |

Interesting. I always place my clubs diagonally. If putting in multiple sets they're usually stacked. my clubs absolutely do not fit horizontally, though I've never tried them in those cubbie holes either. Mine usually have stuff in them (at leas the one on the left), maybe this will be a game changer?
Now if only there was a legit way to stop them from rattling? Maybe I need head-covers for all clubs? |
