WANTED E90 N53 intermediate exhaust section

Looking for a N53 intermediate Exhaust section, so I can cut out the NOX cat..

This is the part from the primary headers to the back back connection and has the secondary cats and Nox cat.

As I am going to remove the NOX cat it would be fine if it has knackered NOX cat...

I thought the secondary cats (boxes next to the gearbox) were the Nox cats anyway?

The Nox sensor is after these secondary (Nox) cats.

The box near the diff is a resonator unless I'm mistaken?

I think you are right. Do you have a intermediate section?

I only have a stock backbox from my 330i lying around I'm afraid. I took it off as I had a custom backbox and tailpipes fitted to mine.

No, Will has a 325i, so the NOX cat is after the resonators (near the number 16 in this diagram):

Ah okay so the box at the back is actually a Nox cat? I thought it was those round ones near number 6 on the diagram lol!

Good job I haven't removed any of them then as I really want to keep the resonators to minimize drone.

I’m pretty sure, that :

Number 16 - is the resonator after the resonatir you have the over axle pipe to the back box.

Number 6 - are the secondary cats which have NOX function.

I’m pretty sure it’s this way round as the NOX sensor is before the resonator and temperature sensure is before the cats

I’ll be removing the cats at number 6. Im questioning whether to gut them or replace with straight pipes I think straight pipes will be better..
