Connected Drive

Hi gang,

Probably me being thick but I seem to be having some issues with the Connected Drive app working with my phone over usb.

The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and I obviously have the app installed and the car configured.

Just to clarify, I can lock the car, flash the lights, start the fans, send messages and directions to the car, all that jazzy stuff from the phone so in my head, it is configured fine (did this while sitting at the port the day I got the car)

However, usually when i plug the usb cable into the car usb socket and my phone, the Connected app used to pull in all of the statistics from the car but this is just not working and I cannot pinpoint when it stopped.

I have tried a few cables and the phone has had a factory reset and reinstall of the app etc to no avail.

Any thoughts guys?

Not working on my car also.

Nor mine. Very hit or miss, really piss poor from BMW.

Exactly the same situation. S7edge and usb stopped working. I know that the usb works in my car as i can play songs from it. However must be a software issue. Was working perfectly previously. So i put it down to a recent update.
