I've got a minor issue with my NBT which I'm hoping can be resolved fairly simply.

I retrofitted an NBT to my F31, replacing the CHAMP2 unit that I originally had. I performed the physical installation myself and Bimmertech did the coding and activation of the unit remotely.

So far...no problems.

However I'd like to connect my phone to the NBT which I can do on a basic level, but whenever I try to add my car to the phone permanently, I get a message indicating a Vehicle Region Transfer.

The message states:

"If you add this vehicle to your account, the BMW ConnectedDrive Services which were originally provided in another country will be deactivated".

As a result, I don't want to continue for fear of deactivating my unit.

Can I just ignore this message and all will continue as expected, or if I do continue, will the unit have to be activated once again?

Also, does anyone know which country Bimmertech use for activating their services?

I have same problem with my retrofit, did you solve it?
