BMW Summer Sales Event Question?
I received an invite (RSVP) to the summer sales event at the dealer where I purchased my current 2014 X3. The $1000 allowance says 'only valid on delivery of in stock vehicles'.
Does anyone know if this does or does not include delivery of 'ordered' vehicles like it did for me in 2014?

Likely won't apply based on recent experience.
Also, recently I've noticed that some of these fun coupons / rebates require the dealer to chip in half. So if you are already at invoice minus incentives pricing then the discount could only be 500 unless the dealer is willing to dip into the holdback. The best way I know around this is to have your dealer order the car as priority 2 - dealer use and then put your name on it right near the end. This of course depends a lot on your relationship with the dealer but let's you take advantage of all available incentives at the time of delivery . |

This "sale" isn't very impressive. There was already a $1500 loyalty credit. Leftover 2018s will probably get a few thousand credit soon anyway. Then there's the occasional random driving event where you can get some credit too. Then sign up for M Gruppe fleet discount and BMWCCA rebate.
