Was in my daughter's X3 M40 checking settings. Noticed that it was set for 20 inch summer wheels. Reset it to 19 inch winter/AS tires, and it wanted the tire pressures increased to 42/46 f/r. Checked the door, and it had much lower pressure recommendations of 32/25 f/r. Do I go with what the computer is telling me, or what the door is telling me? Huge difference.

Always go with door jam specs. I have 21" and nowhere near 42/46 <100mph! IIRC 21" <100mph 34/39, so 19" A/S should be similar.

Agree - no idea why the settings would have wanted 42/46, as they aren't recommended for any tire size or speed. As reference, I've attached images taken from the manual for all tire settings <100mph and >100mph.

Thank you! It must have been 38/45 from the cluster. That's for speeds over 100 mph. I will go drop them to 32/35.
