OMG its finally here...

So I finally picked up the car today. would have gone smoothly had there not been a slight snafu with some bridge tolls. But in the end...

... she's MINE. So excited. I had to keep from passing 4k rpm like so many times driving home.

(added a few pics of what I'm coming from. so you can tell why I'm so excited)

Totally feel your pain. But like everyone has said, soooo worth it. I've had it less than 24hrs, and even thinking about driving it can put a smile on my face. You won't be disappointed. I hope you get a call soon saying you can go get it!

Now that I've had a chance to sit in the car for a little while now, I love how the mocha stands out against/breaks up the black of the dash and floor. Seriously happy this option was "forced" on me over the black I had wanted...

And the wood trim. The lack of a shiny surface is nuts. But looks so good to me.

Haha. You mean the "almost M40i club".

Alpine white looks so good on this car though. Especially if you have the glossy black bits.

The shiney grill gave it away .... lovely car though... sapphire black (I’m biased) or white are top colours for the g01

When I put the 1k deposit down on the vehicle, it was supposed to get in a week later. that was... first week of may? couple of delivery delays and 2 months later it finally came in. this was already pre-built, so no production delays like for most people.

They wanted to make the delivery a little more special feeling.

there was a sweet black g01 outside the dealer on display, ironically with the m sport trim, but no DA+.

LOL. My bad. I didn't even look closely enough to see the grill. lol. Still a beauty! I have replaced the cerium gray to all black so the entire thing is black and white.

AW is the color to go with IMO. You'll see way more blue and black. Congrats either way!!!!

Is BMW planning on offering black kidney grilles, black side mirror caps and anything else on this car that is grey ish including the fog light area? Where did you get the black to replace on the car?

Kidding. IND Distribution. Unfortunately, they have not had the parts to replace the lower boomerang at the fog light...
