seriously though...even if unofficial time is off, i doubt it will be by much. with that power and probably ~ 3400lb or so, it is highly likely car will be a great performer. old NSX is still a beast on the track. knowing Honda, they've cooked up something good here. looks from pictures is ehh, but it is still early to tell.

I would take one of these things over a GTR anyday. Like BMW, Honda can make awesome normally aspirated engines.

I will tell you one thing.... I don't know what I am going to replace with current M6 with....

NSX?
New M6?
LFA? (Outside chance....Lexus....Barf)

Good to have choice. If the new M6 has a new killer motor....it would be hard to choose against it

It will be the best behaved supercar on the market, which will be as easy to drive as a Civic and be as reliable as a swiss watch. But unlike your M6, GTR, Porsche or R8, it will be devoid of a passion.

I understand why you would like to keep thing N/A but no matter how good this car will be and it will be very good indeed I just could never warm to the idea of owning one.

I've always loved the NSX...

It was the start of the 'F1' street car...

If Nissan didn't go 7:39, then Honda wouldn't have tried to go 7:37. Competition is a beautiful thing. Who knows, maybe that new BMW they are working on will break the 7:30 marker.

The first generation NSX was very cool. Performance-wise it can still hold its own against an M3. Loved the way it looked inside and out. Unfortunately, it was too expensive for me at the time and many have said it is too perfect -- it just doesn't stir up the excitement.

It looks like the new NSX will be even better. However, the pictures of the pre-release car don't look as hot as the old. But it aint bad looking.

You believe the GTR has passion? Most of what I have read refer to it as an instrument of speed but nothing more. I think an NA NSX with the abilities of the GTR is going to have passion....just me though

Why do people like being called T Bone? I have a friend we call T Bone, but that's only because he "T Boned" a jeep which totaled his STi. So for him it has a negative conotation.

I don't think I'd ever say that any of the three Civic Type-R's (one of each generation) and the Integra Type R I've owned were short on passion...
