I noticed the bluetooth audio stopped working today when I was trying to watch a video on youtube through the mobile app today. I have an iPhone X running iOS 11.4

I can still stream music over bluetooth just fine and using the web browser on youtube.com works. The app audio also works when the phone is plugged into the car it just doesn't work over bluetooth. I would say case closed it's the app that's the issue but it works perfectly fine in my M2 so I'm not sure what is causing the problem in my 328. I haven't gotten an istep update or anything recently so I see no reason for the sudden change in behavior.

I've reset my phone, reset the idrive, deleted my phone from the cars bluetooth and re added it. I'm all out of ideas at this point.

Has this happened to anyone else? Thoughts?

Got a 435 and it just started happening where my YouTube app doesn’t work anymore. Mobile does tho

Okay glad to know I'm not the only one. I thought I was going crazy. Like I said, My M2 with ID5 still streams it perfectly fine over BT so maybe the latest YT app update just messed up the way ID4 connects to it?

I wonder if they did It on purpose as another way to get it people to pay for YouTube Red.
