installed the gb 4inch and gb tweets, looking at remaking the top of the door where the tweeter lives oem.. I can make a new housing with better angle so I will try and see how they look and sound when done.

3 way, built custom boxes under the seats to house a helix shallow dvc 8. gonna change them out tho for the audiofrog gb 6.5, Andy, at Audiofrog says they will pound way way better in that size box then the helix e200. box is .35ft sealed now..

so far on music, the tweeters are the star of the show. I had in the car, scan speak 2004-6020 tweeters, and the Dayton audio rs125 mids. Mids sound the same.. I cant hear much of a difference in sq, BUT, the froggies will handle a lot more jam from the amp..... now the tweets are more smooth and play louder with less input... they sound a lot like the Hiquphone ow-1 tweeter,,, I mean a lot.... AND that aint a bad thing as most reviewers feel the Hiquphone is the best tweeter on the planet in its price range.. and iam one of them...

I'm very interested to see how you build the enclosure for the underseat. I still have my GB60's, from my previous Audi install. I currently have Jehnert's under the seat... but I'd say they are definitely the weakest link of my system. If I could get the GB's under the seat, I'd be over the moon. |

lots of depth for pretty much any 6.5. or a lot of shallow 8s, box size is around .35, and if you don't want to port, fine just seal off that end of the enclosure, Once its all built and befor carpet goes on, I line the inside of the enclosure with polycrete, makes it hard as a rock and dries in 10 min....
