That's what i thought :
Triple turn signal activation Lightly tap the lever up or down. The triple turn signal duration can be adjusted. Via iDrive: "My Vehicle" "Vehicle settings" "Lighting" "Exterior lighting" "One-touch turn signal" Select the desired setting. The setting is stored for the driver profile currently used. |

Apparently this has been changed since a firmware update in 2017. You can no longer code these changes if your vehicle has been updated. I had my 16’ 4 series coded with 5 blinks but after firmware update, it no longer works.
