BMW Connected Drive and Spotify

Has anyone had this happen while playing spotify using bmw connected drive? You get to your destination, turn off the car, exit the vehicle, then spotify continues to play on your phone. Has only happened a few time but Im curious what is causing it.

Yes. It is weird. Doesn't happen on apple music app though.

Happened to me yesterday. Phone was in my backpack in passenger seat and it was playing when I got to my destination. I almost never listen to Spotify either!

Wondering what audio everyone has. I have stock hifi with no nav.

Stock system, but I have Premium and Convenience.

So its a bug in connected drive where it sends an auto play command to your mobile. I am on an android phone are you iphone?
