Driving assistance plus not available ... again?

Does anyone know why Driving Assistance Plus package is not available to order.

I heard earlier that there was a part shortage when it disappeared from the Build Your Own page a while back, then it was available on BYO again and available when I did my build before going to my dealer yesterday to order my M40i only to find out the Driving Assistance Plus Package is not available to order for the 2018, will have to wait for the 2019. If a part shortage, I suppose it still may not be available when they start to build the 2019's in August, but also curious if it is a design issue that will not be implemented until the 2019.

It’s on the configurator right now... your dealer should be able to order it, if they call and get an override for the order.

BTW, I expected to be notified of responses to my post. I was not and just happened to check. Is there a setting for that?

Got my VIN working today, checked options and both DA+ and M steering wheel are in the list.
