Need help with a really stupid seat belt problem
I have a 435i coupe and I happened to wrap my two rear seat belts around the middle armrest in the backseats (image below)
View post on imgur.com The seatbelts normally are able to extend way more than enough to allow them to come off of the middle armrest thing but they are stuck in a like retracting state. You can try this with any seat belt after a certain amount of extending the seat belt you can only retract and have to retract it fully before it'll allow you to extend it again. Does this make sense? Anyone know of any way to release the seatbelts so they can extend again? |

The seatbelts "lock" in retract-only mode once they are fully extended; this is for locking child seats using seatbelts. I don't think there's a way to get it back to unlocked mode until they've been fully retracted...
Out of curiosity -- what did you do that positioned the seatbelts this way? |
