If I was in your position, I'd almost want to have a little fun with it. Not necessarily string him along, but naively inquire further and see if the hilarity continues.

I'd first be curious what his hourly rate is, and how long he estimates the job will take. Then I'd probably go from there.

It's not a typo, he added the comma to it so it's obvious. I remember talking to him over the phone saying it would be pricey, but this is ridiculous

Post his number, I'll ask him how much to wrap 3 pieces on a FRS for the hell of it. See if he imposes a "FRS" tax and hikes the price.
